General Covid-19 Terms and Conditions (19th July Updates)
- You must agree to our disclaimer/terms and conditions below using our online signature pad. We will not be issuing paper disclaimers/terms and conditions.
- You must inform us if upon booking if anyone in your household is showing symptoms of Coronavirus or have had symptoms in the past 14 days.
- If anyone starts to develop Coronavirus symptoms during the hire period then the use of the equipment must cease immediately and we must be informed immediately.
Hiring for use in my garden (Before 1st October)
- The selected equipment will only be set up in a private, grassed garden with a side gate for access.
- Following the completion of your booking form you MUST send us an image of your garden where you would like the inflatable.
- Access to the garden must be clear prior to our arrival.
- If an outdoor electricity supply is not available, your own extension lead should be plugged in and put outside prior to our arrival for us to use.
- Payments must be made online prior to our arrival.
Hiring for use inside my home:
- It is important that once you book you make contact with us to let us know which room your package is being set up in.
- When hiring for use inside your home the correct amount of space must be made available prior to our arrival. All hallways and passages must be made clear of boxes, coats or other items which may obstruct a clear walkway.
- Prior to collection, all equipment must be placed back onto the mats.
- All payments must be made prior to our collection. Any payments not made before collection will be requested on collection before we leave.
Hiring for use inside a venue:
- ALL equipment must not be moved from the area once set up has been completed. All Soft Play Equipment must be placed on the safety mats provided/ all inflatables must remain inflated prior to collection.
Soft Play
All equipment delivered will be in a clean and sanitary state. Should there be any significant dirt or staining upon collection the Hirer (You) will be made liable for professional cleaning costs within 24 hours of the collection.
Upon collection we ask that all equipment is placed back to the set up area and not scattered around the venue in order to carry out a safe and quick collection.
The Hirer (You) must ensure that the equipment is supervised at all times by a responsible person over the age of 18. We prefer this to be the hirer but understand this isn't possible in all circumstances.
Our Soft Play Equipment is strictly for use of children under the age of 7 years old. You will find on most items a suitability page, we advise you check this before hiring the equipment.
No food, drink or chewing gum is to be allowed on or near the Soft Play. This will avoid possible choking and mess.
Shoes must be removed before use of the equipment. Adults who walk over the padded flooring whilst supervising should also remove their shoes. Damage to the artwork/material will result in a replacement invoice sent to the hirer.
For hygiene reasons we ask for socks to be worn at all times.
Under no circumstances should face paints, party poppers, confetti, silly string or coloured streamers be used on or near the Soft Play- Staining will occur to which the Hirer (You) will be liable for.
The Hirer (You) are fully responsible for the safe keeping of the equipment. You will be charged for theft or any damaged caused to the equipment.
It is the Hirer's responsibility to ensure that all reasonable precautions are taken to protect all users from harm and danger.
Bouncy Castles
All our units have a height limit. Please ensure you view this on the suitability page before hiring. Should you book a castle and it be unsuitable, no deposit will be refunded and full price will remain outstanding.
All footwear, glasses, jewellery, badges and other sharp objects must be removed before using the Bouncy Castle.
Under no circumstances should face paints, party poppers, confetti, silly string or coloured streamers be used on or near the Bouncy Castle- Staining will occur to which the Hirer (You) will be liable for.
Climbing, hanging or sitting on the walls is dangerous and under no circumstances should it be allowed.
The Hirer (You) must ensure that the equipment is supervised at all times by a responsible person over the age of 18. We prefer this to be the hirer but understand this isn't possible in all circumstances.
It is the hirer’s responsibility to ensure that the Bouncy Castle is not overcrowded, and limit numbers according to the age and height of the children.
Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front step of the Bouncy Castle as this is likely to cause injury to the user and others around them.
Children must not push, collide, fight or behave in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.
It is essential that nobody with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the Bouncy Castle.
Do not attempt to move the Bouncy Castle once it has been set up.
Should the Bouncy Castle Blower stop working all users should exit the inflatable immediately and the hirer should contact us as soon as possible.
Keiran's Soft Play Hire must be advised as soon as possible in the event of any injury requiring professional medical treatment. Treatment must be sought within 2 hours of the injury occurring and a detailed record of the incident and treatment must be provided.
Disclaimer
Please note that all persons using the equipment do so at their own risk. The person or organisation hiring the equipment will be responsible/liable for any damage/injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. These guidelines are for the safety of all people using the equipment. It is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are adhered to. Keiran's Soft Play Hire cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using the equipment.
By signing the online signature pad you agree to abide by the terms and conditions listed and agree to return the equipment in the same condition it was received in.
Cancellation Policy
It is important to understand, when placing a booking with Keiran's Soft Play Hire, you have entered a contract with ourselves.
Any booking fees that you pay including deposits are non-refundable except from in certain circumstances. We understand in certain circumstances you are left no option but to cancel but we ask you to give us as much notice as possible.
30 Day’s Prior Hire Date - Cancellation:
Should you wish to cancel your hire before 30 days prior to your event we will happily cancel your booking however a 15% booking charge will be invoiced payable within 48hrs of the invoice being sent. Anything after 30 days prior to your event, we will happily cancel your booking with 35% of the booking hire fee payable within 48hrs of the invoice being sent.
14 Day's Prior Hire Date - Cancellation:
Should you cancel your event within 14 days prior to your hire, unfortunately we are left no option but to issue you a full invoice payable within 48hrs of the invoice being sent. This is sadly due to us being unlikely to allocate the space to someone else in such short notice.
Weather - Cancellation:
In the event/forecast of poor weather conditions (including rain, snow and high winds) we are left no option to cancel your booking. Should we cancel your booking all booking fees/deposits will be refunded within 7 days of the cancellation.
If we feel the weather poses no safety risks and are happy to continue with the hire but you choose to cancel the booking, no booking fees/deposits will be refunded.
Date Change - Cancellation:
In the event that your event changes date and a booking fee has been paid, we will check the availability on your new chosen date and amend your booking accordingly. Should there be no availability on your new chosen date we will refund 25% of prepaid booking fees. Should no booking fees have been made a 75% cancellation charge will be applied payable with 48hrs of the invoice being sent.
Upon receiving your cancellation request we will process your cancellation and send a confirmation email confirming the cancellation. Should you not receive this email following a request, please contact us immediately for verification in order to avoid additional fees.
PLEASE NOTE, SHOULD CANCELLATION INVOICES NOT BE PAID WITHIN 48HRS OF THE INVOICE BEING SENT LEGAL ACTION WILL BE TAKEN TO RECOVER THE OUTSTANDING CHARGES.
Outdoor Weather Policy
In the event/forecast of poor weather conditions (Including rain, snow, high winds), we are left no choice but to cancel your booking. On the grounds of health and safety we reserve the right to cancel your event should we feel the forecast weather will have a negative impact on the safety of the users.
In the event of high winds/ forecast high winds (exceeding approximately 20-24mph) we will cancel your booking. By agreeing to the terms and conditions you understand that at any point, we have the right to cancel your booking should we feel we need to do so.
In the event of a cancellation due to high winds/poor weather, we will offer you alternative products we feel are suitable for indoors. In the event that no equipment is available or deemed unsuitable, we will refund your prepaid booking fees.
Non of the above affect your Statutory Rights under the Distance Selling Regulations.
